Everyone needs to wake up and read this.  They have been fighting for our rights to ride for a long time.  For anyone who says I only go to the private riding places where you pay to get in, just remember those places get grants from the state that they only have to pay back 10 percent of.  Dont think the state does this out of the goodness of their hearts.  Its only because someone challenged federal laws and made the state start paying.  This is a good deal.

as most you know, I have opened my land up as an ATV/ORV park (South Tx Mud and Fun). we applied for the GRANT and just got the letter that we were denied. We all pay taxes on the gas we use in our ATVs but cant ride the roads. "They" say they set aside money that we spend in taxes for this simple purpose, but then they make it almost immposible to get the grant. as much as i love being from the great state of TEXAS, is hurts me the same. OUR law makers have really screwed us over when it comes to our hobby.

it is very unfortunate that TEXAS being as big as it it, only 3% is "public land" and we can ride. and thats pretty much deep west texas.

another thing that really "gets to me" is that Texas has over 400 miles of coast line. AND WE CANT RIDE ANY OF IT.
