I am organizing a ride in the east texas area that will be a 3 day event including a Texas Music Concert with some of the biggest name artists of the genre.(Kevin Fowler, Randy Rogers Band, Stoney LaRue, etc.) We are also going to have a cook-off event. I am still undecided on where the event will be located. I am considering Sabine River Rats Park, Beavers Paradise Park, or Private Land. The date I am considering is in mid-June.  I would like everyones help with a couple of things to see where interests are:

 First- Where do you think it should be?

Second- Which singers would you like to hear in concert?

Third- Would you attend?

Fourth- How many people do you think we could get to attend?

I don't care where you have it, I would be there. Yes,  if you could get Randy Rogers or Roger Creager that would be awesome and i could bring 5 or 6 people!

Name the place and my riding clan of abot 10 people will be there. Randy Rogers Band, or Stoney LaRue would be kick ass..........

 I've got about 12-15 that would be in for it.  Location would not be an issue because we are in EasTex.  Date would be the only factor.

If you bring the big guns people will come. Just try not to have it at the same time as a big event or attendance will be down.

 As far as the park goes, just find one that can hold a large crowd. Since most people would be traveling a decent way, I would not get to crazy with admission prices. Other than that, I think its a great idea

      Big park, low price.  High admission is a major buzz-killer

Second- Which singers would you like to hear in concert?
      Robert Earl Keen would be cool ... he rox!   

Third- Would you attend?
      Yes ... and I could bring a half-dozen or so other riders ... as long as schedules allow

Tell ya what, any place that has at least a couple water hook ups to spray down with helps.  I'm definitly down and I can get a group together.  Say maybe 10 riders.

This would be sweet. I've got friends that would definately be in. Would love somewhere in North East Texas. Don't have any suggestions on actual places. Ragweed, Boland, Django, Randy Rogers, Hell any of them would be killer. It could be a huge deal.

im not to picky about the location.. as for country singers... Stoney LaRue, Eli Young, Casey Donahew, Texas High Life, Wade Bowen, Josh Ward, Wayne Hubbard.. are a few of my favorites! I'm sure if everything went as planned I would be rolling with a crew of probably 20-30 bikes/people!

I agree somewhere in Northeast Texas. Some place north of DFW. Maybe Sulpher River Trails ATV park.

Sorry to inform you but Sulphur River Trails is closed. Unfortunately that was one of the best places to ride in NE Texas IMO. As far as I know that pretty much leaves Double 00.  I am sure there are other places that you may be able to get your hands on but I don't know of any... How about Shilo Ridge down in Alto?

My group lives about 45 mins north of houston. As long as it was not more then about 3 hours away and not on our race weekend, I could probably bring between 10-30 people.

It all depends on the local and date. If its not too far maybe bring 15-20 riders.

Oh and Randy Rogers and Eli Young Band are a must.

as far as the bands go, i am good friends with texas highlife, Bo Cox Band, Wayne Hubbard Band and a few others that play at all around houston regurlarly
