I am looking for a good reputable shop that will do the job right. My 05 360 needs an overhaul almost. Its been sitting awhile, carb needs to be gone through, fluid change, back brake fixed an belt fixed. it needs a lot of work. If someone on here knows a good place please post here or pm me.

Raptor 660 /R1 engine swap

Anybody know of a good shop that can squeeze a R1 motor into a Raptor 660. Am located in Houston,and want to have a new toy built.Just dont know of a shop that will do it, at a fare price. HELP - Engine work needed on 2008 Kawi KFX450R

I am new to Round Rock (Austin), TX. I am getting some work done on my quad (port/polish, valve job, cam) and need to find a shop who can break my engine down and put back together when I get it back from Florida. I do not want to pay hourly from the local dealer, way to much.

Can someone recommend a local shop that does quality work with reasonable rates?

While I've heard so many horror stories about the "Cowboy" dealerships(Honda,Polaris,HD...),I can't say that I've had a bad experience with them yet.

Everything that I've wanted/needed...they have either had in stock...or were able to get for me in a very reasonable time period.

I haven't had a reason to use the service dept yet,as I do most of my wrenching myself.however...I did have a couple questions,and the service tech was very helpful and polite.

I've shopped around in all 3 of the Cowboy cycle shops...and the staff is always courteous and helpful.

They always keep a good variety in stock also. not too sure about the Polaris dept...but as for the honda side...if you are in the market for a certain ATV model...in a certain color...they more than likely have at least one exactly like you are wanting...in stock.

JUST THE FACTS

DEC 5 dropped wheeler of at 1 PM

informed it had 1 stripped axle rear

2 front broke cv's

bad tbap sensor

under extended warrant, was told they would get on it

DEC 13 I was told was waiting on warrant REP to check on bike

DEC 19 I was told REP was on vacation for Christmas would not be back until after New Years

He would look at it the day after New Years

and GENES would be closed between Christmas and New Years

JAN 3 Called and was told REP had not been there, they would check on it

JAN 9 Called at 3PM was told REP had not been there and they would check on it

RETURN CALL AT 4 PM SAID THEY DENIDED THE CLAIM

JAN 10 Picked wheeler up at 1 pm

CHARGED $200 FOR REMOVAL OF 4 AXLES

got it home at 2pm installed 3 axles, lift, ate supper,and 3 long phone calls

was done by 9 pm. Just waiting on 1 front axle and im ready to go

I have no problem with the warranty being voided. Abuse "who me"

Cheap Parts

Is there a shop or dealer that can get me some parts cheap, i'm looking for a HMF Pipe, Jet Kit, K & N Air filter, i don't want to put it on my Credit Card because they are about maxed out

I called Tejas and they quoted me $314 for a HMF Pipe, i might look online and send them a money order

How long does starter change take

Took my outlander 400 in for a warranty starter change at Sherman Power Sports a month ago.I was sure that was enough time to get out before deer season. Not so. I've been told they had to get a special removal tool in. Put the starter in and that did not work. Now I'm told they have to order the starter assembly. Am I missing something here or getting the run around. BUMMED

Grizzly Lift Kit Help!

I Want to put a 2" lift on my 2004 660 grizzly. I'm looking at the highlifter kit for about $75.00 or the Xtreme Lift for about $175.00. Does anyone know what the difference between the two lifts are? All I can tell is there are a lot more parts in the Xtreme lift kit. Is it worth the extra money?

Anyone know of a good place to go for service on a Kawi that's factory authorized? I'm coming up on my 100 hour service and I really don't want to go back to AJ Foyt :eek::runaway:. I bought that dang 4 year warranty so I have to get it done at an approved shop. Bad Arctic Cat Dealer in Dayton

Guys beware of Trinty Valley Tractors in Dayton. Customer service does not exist there if you did not buy your bike from them. I was told to take my bike somewhere else to have warrenty work done. This all came from the owner of the place. I would not buy anything from this dealer. They are just plain rude and make you feel like it is a privaledge to buy stuff from them. Never again
