Now I have a question.. According to the link below, the previous 650I is faster than a 750I in a drag race. Is the same true with the new '08 models? I'm almost 100% on getting the 750I, EFI, new dry storage and new seat really make it appealing for 400bucks more.

So, is it true? For the 2008s?

Were the Bayou 300s built so similarly that a wrecked 2002 could be assembled on a 1995 frame? All advice appreciated. I only had a chance to ride up and down the street, but they are smooth. Fit is very close on the front floor boards, they just fit, but I'll probably end up trimming the floor back a bit so I can put my spacers back on. Can't wait to put them in the mud this weekend!!!

Is it easy enough to pull out to take your bike in for factory service to avoid warranty issues? I installed a DynoJet jet kit on a Brute Force today and the whole controversy about the needles and so on from the factory could have been avoided by Kawasaki by installing adjustable needles. The DynoJet kit has adjustable needles in it, but the needle seats in the main jet and the stock jets might not provide a good seat. On this particular bike we did a simple snorkle to get rid of the "baffle" that seemed to catch steam pretty bad. The DynoJet kits are always pretty easy to install, most of the work is getting the carbs off of the bike. One thing I did like about the BF carbs was the solid linkage of the dual carbs. Another thing I liked about the BF was the dual-port heads that it has. With a little mods this thing would rip some a$$! :D I didn't get a chance to test ride the bike today but it seemed to run great with just the instructions provided. After a little test run I'll see how correct they were.

Jetting was as follows:
144mj in front carb
150mj in rear carb
needles on 4th clip with 2 washers
DJ springs
2 turns on the air screws

Kawasaki Brute Force 750

Okay I think I'm leaning more towards the BF than the grizzly now. I have heard lots of good reviews between the two on atvconnection and highlifter and thinking about going with the Brute Force. Does anyone have one of these? Any opinions?

If I go through with it, I will finally be able to ride again on a ATV that works!!! I have never bought anything from Kawasaki before so this will be interesting. I was a die hard honda fan for a while there. But after hearing everyone talk about the v-twin I think I'll give it a try!
