we are pleased to bring a ATV XC Racing Series to SOUTH TEXAS. We will host races in the southern triangle( Austin- San Antonio - Houston). We urge all Atv riders/ racers to gather up some friends and family and come out to be apart of an exciting ATV Racing weekend.

ALL TYPES OF ATVS CAN PARTAKE IN STX-ATV RACES.

sport- utility 4x4- utility 4x2

We also have buddy races.... these are two man teams and can consist of one or two quads(any type). Each rider must switch and let the next rider run a lap.

We also race UTVs..... these are also in the buddy class. This is a two man team. Driver change is optional.....

even if you don't race... you can still come out and ride trails and camp all weekend... The track is only shut down during the races(a total of 5 hr the entire weekend)Fri-Sun) The rest of the time the track is open for practice, or regular trail riding......

This is an overall great family weekend getaway... Come and hang out with folks that enjoy the same enthusiasm about Offroading as you..............................

Several of us that have been riding at Boulder Creek Off Road Park are trying to start an ATV club. The idea emerged initially in one of the Boulder Creek threads in the Riding Areas forums. Orginally, we wanted to get some organization to help cut ATV trails at BC, but it could evolve into more than that.

We would like to hold a general meeting on February 9th at Boulder Creek, at 1:30 in the parking area. This meeting will discuss general items such as a name, goals, activities, dues, etc. If you're interested in helping start this club, or joining, please come on out!!

This gives directions, but basically it's about 7 miles east of Marble Falls. About an hour and half north of San Antonio and around 30 minutes west of Austin.

Hey folks if you are looking for a place to do some MX Quad racing in the greated Houston and surrounding areas come check us out. We race at most of the Houston area MX tracks like Highlands MX, Three Palms Splendora MX Park, Beaumont MX and we also Race at the Austin Del Valley MX track in Austin. We are currently working on setting up an event at Cycle Ranch in Flosisville Tx up towards San Antonio. Anyway if you are interested in getting into MX Quad racing in the South Texas area come check out the Gulf Coast Quad Racing Association at www.gcqra.com we would love to have you at our events. Don't let your trails be stolen

To all ATV, Motorcycle and ORV clubs, associations and individuals, My name is James Hale and there is a proposal for ATV/ORV trails in Seminole, Oklahoma. A couple of months ago some our local ATVers asked if the city would provide them with some currently undeveloped land located at our city-owned lake - Sportsman Lake. Well, I spoke to a few of the city councilmen about it and most said they were in favor of it. So, I met a few times with the local enthusiasts and we began to proceed with putting together a proposal. Meanwhile, our local equestrian riders heard about the proposed trails and the STUFF hit the fan. Now, we have lost the support of some of our previously committed Councilmen due to pressure from this group. There is existing equestrian trails on the NORTH side of the lake that cover about 950 acres. The land that the ATVers are proposing is located on the SOUTH side of the lake and covers about 450 acres. The ATVers have no desire to use the equestrian trails, yet the equestrian riders continued to complain. So, the ATVers backed off a little to let things cool down, quietly going about organizing and putting their proposal together. Suddenly, on Friday July 30th 2004, the Lake Board agenda stated the following: "Discussion/Action regarding proposed expansion of equestrian facilities." In an effort to keep the ATVers out, the equestrian riders asked the Lake Board to give them an additional 450 acres to expand the equestrian trails. Obviously, this 450 acres is the land the ATVers were proposing to use for their trails. As a compromise, the ATVers proposed a "shared trail" system that would encompass the controversial 450 acres ONLY. Again, the ATVers stated that they have no desire to ride on the existing 950 acres of equestrian trails. Without hesitation, the equestrian riders adamantly opposed the compromise and demanded the land for themselves. At the Lake Board meeting on Tuesday, August 3rd, much to our dismay, the Lake Board approved the equestrian riders request. The vote passed by a 2-1 margin and will now be "recommended" to the City Council for approval. The City Council will make the final decision as to whether the trails should be designated equestrian trails only. As mentioned before, our goal is to make the trails "shared trails" between the equestrian and ATV riders. And only the 450 acres in question would be shared. This will be the motion from the ATV supporters - that the 450 acres be "shared trails" between the equestrians and the ATVers/ORVers. The equestrian riders will be at the City Council meeting in full support of making the trails ?equestrian trails only?. This is where you can help. If we can garner enough support from the ATV and ORV community, we should be able to sway the City Council into designating the trails ?shared? trails, but this will NOT be easy. The ORV community must show an ?overwhelming? support to keep from losing their proposed trails. We need as many support letters as possible, which you can email to harmony@okplus.com Address your support letter to: Mayor Billy Choate and the City Council of Seminole, Ok. Another action we strongly recommend is calling our mayor and City Council members to ?voice? your support. The more calls they get, the better our chances of winning this issue. Hi, My name is Ash and I have been ATVing for last 1 year. I must confess that I am now addicted to ATVing. A few weeks ago I decided to buy a new ATV; however, I couldn?t finalize one so far. I read specs and reviews of various ATV models on the internet and various publications. Every ATV manufacturer claims his machines to be the best and people have different views. I realized that there are thousands of people like me who struggle with deciding which machine to buy. The current buyer?s guides available on the internet are good but have their own limitations. I decided to develop a comprehensive buyer?s guide based on the knowledge of people who actually own and use the ATVs rather than what manufacturers claim. I therefore developed this survey. I request all of you to please take a few minutes and participate in this survey and help me develop this buyer?s guide for thousands of new people who want to join the ATVing community. I spent several hours (for no money) designing this survey and will be spending several more hours consolidating and analyzing the data.
