So you made yours out of 3" huh? Sounds interesting. How does it sound? Does it have enough volume and "umphh" to be heard while out trail riding? Where did you mount the amp? I'm guessing it wouldn't fit inside a 3" PVC. Where do you put the iPod? inside the tube via a screw-on lid?

I really don't have any "big bucks" to spend on an audio tube/box. When I started this thread I was teeter-totter'n between buying an audio box/tube or a GPS for my 4-wheeler (can't afford both at the same time). I opted for the GPS - got the Garmin 60CSx with a Shrimp Mount for the handlebars.

Anyway ... I'm still interested in getting some "tunes" on my ride ... can you send/post pictures of your tube?

Peace-Out,
BT

Re: WTB - Audio tube or box for ATV

I built mine myself. My tube puts out some good sound but his is louder and more clear than myn is. I got myn before they came out with the Bazooka and If I did it again I would buy the Bazooka. The only thing im not real crazy about the Bazooka is that the speakers have a foil type finish and when the sun or headlight hit it it will blind you.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have seen this one, and like it.

So far, I'm torn between the Bazooka Marine from the link you posted and this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ATV-Stereo-Radio-Box-Enclosed-IPod-MP3-Amp-Jack_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43972QQihZ015QQitemZ250261249302QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

I've also considered building my own box out of MDF and adding my own components.

You said you have one, which one do you have? The Boss or Bazooka? How is the speaker/sound quality?

Decisions, decisions, decisions.
BT8

Re: WTB - Audio tube or box for ATV

Ever seen this guys web site.
