Installing a new Starter on a 2005 Wolverine (Yamaha) 350

Has anyone installed a starter on their quad--specifically a Wolverine or possibly Big Bear? My husband is pretty mechanically savvy--is this something that he could do himself? Thanks!

I just bought the bike and rebuilt the carb and it still gets too hot. I killed the engine as soon as I saw it get too hot. I rode it and it shifts great and does not smoke and starts on 1st or 2nd kick. The electric starter works too.

I currently run the XTR's in 27" and want to know what is needed to run the 31" Highlifter Outlaws (31x9x14) all four corners. The quad has a 3" Xtreme Lift.

I know the tires will rub that back aluminum bracket for the floorboard fenders and I am going to have it relocated.

Or what is the largest tires wheel size combo you are running on the King Quad 700? Do I need to go to a 12" rim and 29.5?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

i have a 2000 bombardier ds 650 and it has a blubbering problem it pulls through 1st gear and when you shift into 2nd gear it blubbers if you are just riding normal it runs grate if the rpms are up and your racing or if your flat out top speed and you drop the rpms at all like if you start going up hill it blubbers there too can anybody help me

98 honda foreman es won't start

i bought a 98 foreman today and the guy said that he was going across the pasture when it just died. i got it home and i am getting fuel and spark. my question is if i am getting both fuel and spark and my run switch is on what else could my problem be. it turns over like it should but seems like the kill switch is on

Looking for the standard diameter of the rod journal on a 2000 Polaris 325 Magnum 4-stroke crankshaft. No one seems to have put it in any manual that I can locate, Clymer, Polaris Service or Haynes, ditto on checking with Polaris's 800 service number. The dad is an old style mechanic who prefers to fix rather than replace parts. He picked up this machine that had spun the crank bearings, not too much scoreing so he wants to have it turned. But can not find these specs.

I have severe issue with my ECM/Sure Power Box. Vehicle have been running for 150 hours and service have replaced 4 times this unit. Do anybody know, if there is a fix for this? Wiring have been tested several times and there is no short circuit. Also alternator is OK. These boxes are "Made in China". This might be the issue, but cant understand why there is no replacement for this unreliable unit. Please advice :Dontknow

i usually go to a 4 wheeler ride somewhere at least once a month and have looked every time for someone that has a 07 rubicon 500 with a exhaust and have yet to find one. Has anyone out there put one on theirs or know of anybody that has? i would like to know which would be the best bet for my money, which jet kit was used and how much of a difference was made. i would like to have one that gave me a little bit deeper sound but really dont care for the whole make your ear bleed sound, since i still use mine for hunting also.

325 4x4 polaris help!!!

I have a 325 polaris 4x4, when locked in 4 wheel drive the front right tire turns without a problem, but the front left tire doesn't turn anymore at all. I have thought of every possible thing i could think of. Does anyone know what could this could be?

Bad Wheel Bearing on Wolverine 350 (back wheel)

It sounds like the bearing has gone bad on one of the wheels in the back of my 2005 Wolverine. Has anyone changed these out before on a Wolverine or a similar machine? Is it a big deal? Thanks

BF650 Ground Clearance

Are a lift kit and bigger tires all I can do to get more ground clearance? What do I need up front?

I have 26" tires right now and want to get bigger. I was thinking 28s. I don't want to go too big, but will just a lift kit be enough for 28s to clear my fenders. I do have a black EPI spring that I installed when I put the 26s on it. I just put a new high lifter belt on her as well.

Well, my good buddy broke my pull start rope today on the Brute. What is the fix for this? Can just the rope be replaced or do you have to replace the whole assembly? Never opened the one up before.

Ok I sent my bike (98 polaris xpress 300) to the shop to get a jet kit put on, now I get it back and my headlights not working!!!! My neons underneath come on, and my radio work ing fine but the headlights and break light not working... Anyone know what this could be???? Where is the fuse box??

I have a 2008 sportsman 500 EFI and was doing my up keep and maintnace on the rig when i noticed some build up of corrosion on the fuse block. so I talked with a guy that told me no big dael just clean it and use DIELTRIC grease when I put all the fuses back in. Okay no big deal. when i put the 2nd 20amp fuse back in I pushed 2 hard and the backing came lose so i decided I would just put an inline fuse and bypass the block its all plastic and theres no real wiring to itYEAH RIGHT. well 1 week and a short temper later im no closer to getting it started. I figured out its the ignition fuel pump fuse wires on the positive but nothing else want to work now. I did notice that the Pos. dosent get hot only in certin positions and its not pinched from what i can see when i flex the wire in certin postions it works ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT im just short of spending 300 on a wiring harness that I hope i dont need.
