Due to the 15'' of rain, the river flooding 1/2 the park, i had to redo everything. I just redid the mx track, drag strip, new mud pit at the bottom of the hill (the big one) and 3/4 of the trails. You can not make it 100% of the way without 4x4. But you can ride the track, had to make changes due to loss of land in some spots, and added land in others. We go all summer long with no rain, then BOOM we get way too much. But the good news is after all the hard work, We are MUDDY again!!!
Sorry i had to cancel the STX race guy/gals, but the river did mess alot up. As always, i'am still adding new stuff, and will be ready for the next race!!!

Yes, we have dirt bike and atv on the track. Plus all of the mud holes are perfect right now. The tank is backed up to the road, so alot of water wheelies. Got the drag strip groomed and the barn set up for partys. You can rent the barn now, along with any of the 14 cabins. Any how, check what's been going on out here at Mud Buddy's www.mudbuddys.com

Hi Kelly,
I checked out the new pics and it looks like your customers are still having LOTS of fun at your park. Just curious if you have any plans to do some more drag racing events at your place? I recently started going to the sand drag strip at a local MX park located not far from my house (www.splendoramx.com) and its ALOT of fun. I'd like to come out and race on your drag strip again whenever you have another drag racing event. I'm still not the fastest bike on the drag strip, but Big Blue still surprises a few folks every now and then.
Happy trails...:)

Just a heads up their site says they will be closed this weekend for deer season. I'd hate to make that trip just to have to turn around and go back home.

Thanx for the heads up. It would suck to drive all the way over there and have to turn back. I went to the website, but went straight to the pics. Totally missed the big ass message saying they would be closed. Do you know another place where I can go for a day ride. It will be my wifes first time, so easy but cool trails is what I'm looking for.

Go to Soggy Bottoms. Its about half way between Bryan and Madisonville. About the same drive as Mud Buddys. They have about 1100 acres. My wife and I enjoy.

I used to a long time ago with my dad when I was a kid. Last I had heard there was no trespassing signs up and stuff. I'm not sure what it's like now. I'm not a big fan of riding by the salt water either due to the rust issue.

Biohazard,
Another option for you is General Sams located just north of Huntsville. This 700acre atv park is mostly flat and not terribly technical, so a newbie should be ok there...just stick to the permeter trails until she gets a little more confident and then you can venture into the other trails. www.generalsams.com
There is also a park on the north side of Houston called Creekside Edge (near Splendora, TX on hwy 59N). I've never ridden there, but I understand its a smaller atv park with a few MX tracks and some woods to ride in too.
Happy trails...:)

My 2 cents...I wouldn't take a first timer to General Sams with 2 wheel drive quads. The trail system can get confusing and the mud can be a real nightmare. Even when it's wet there are plenty of flat dry areas at Soggy Bottom to practice riding. Also Creekside Edge has a pretty fun trail system and is fairly close to town for a day trip.

Cool! Thanx for all of you alls info. I will probably end up at creekside edge. I like the fact that it has an mx track for me but it also has trails for my wife. That is why I wanted to go to mud buddy's. The track there kicks ass, and the trails are pretty cool too.
