    San Antonio, and everyone else!!!

Round 7 of STX-ATV that was scheduled for this weekend has been pushed back. So, we have decided to have a FUN ride here at South Tx Mud & Fun on Saturday. This is open to anyone that wants to join. FREE, as in NO admission. So, come on out, ride the trials, drag race, shoot the chit, and tell "old war stories"

We are 7 miles west of Castroville on HWY 90

    Hope to see/meet everyone,

    Randy

What kind of "mud" do you guys have down that way? Up in my area, there is a Black gumbo clay mud, that can stick the best 4 wheelers and 4X4's. I dig 'em out fairly often near my house. There's a fault line between Dallas and Fort Worth, where it breaks to a sandstone base. The Gumbo is accompanied by white Limestone "crap rock" that comes apart in slivers and in chunks... never know which it will be.

Sorry to "thread jack" but I'm interested in riding out at your place (I'd pay too, no big deal) sometime even if it's raining if the terrain is friendly to Sport Quads in the rain. Gumbo is terrible to ride hard in,.... makes for a lot of "off Bike" riding (I call "pulling your quad out of the muck", Off-Bike Riding)....

to make it short and simple, we have the black gumbo. but unlike yours, we dont have the clay mixed in. dusty as hell when its dry.

I haven't done much riding in the colder weather, but I intend to this year. (I've only been 4 wheelin' for 3 summers now). I'm on the hunt for some insulated coveralls already. I check out the local Goodwill stores and every now and then I can find stuff like this. Last year I got some ski bibs but they turned out to be a bit too small for my fat Parts.

In the North TX region we have an occasional snow. If we get one here this year, I'm gonna be out all night playing in the snow, and I'll be missing work the next day. How long does it take to freeze a camelback?

ive only been riding quads for a little over a year now. bought my first one back in march of last year. but i ride at least once a week ever since.

as for a camal back, i know it keeps my water cold for a few hours. so you should be good to go!!!

i think it would be awesome to ride in the snow!!!
