    Randy,

Well, that sux!  Isn't this the event that you attended last summer and you beat the other ATVs in drag races on your Brute Force?  That sounded like fun and I wanted to join you at this year's event...bummer.

yes this was the event, but i was doing the ass whoopin on my kfx 700. its just a real shame us atv guys get pushed aside again. some of us have quads worth more than the "mud trucks" that will be there.. but hey thats ok. i plan on having a Mud Fest of my own on my land. and we will make sure all are invited BUT the jerkies putting on this event!!!

Re: outlaws & alcohol mud fest, dont bother

let me start by apoligizing. as did you Mr. Bigdog, i stereotyped. there are a few of you out there that have BUILT a truck. AND there are us that have BUILT a quad. but not all

    lets see.....

    used kfx700   $5000

AMR 840 kit, 13.5:1, full port and polish, XXX cams  $5000

    custom built drag pipe   $800

custom oversized volicity runners with cross over   $300

custom tuned duel 38mm carbs     $550

    duel programmable cdi       $500

Boondocker nos with twin nozzles W/ adjustable manifold    $1200

VFJ stage 3 clutch mod with seconday pully and roller clutch mod W/ spider mod  $750

clutch kit with daltom O/B primary spring and weights    $300

    2 K&N filters $90

    +4 swing arm extention    $650

skat track exteam paddle tires with rims      $445

stainless steal braided break lines   $70

Marvin Shaw drag shocks front and rear  $720

    LED tail light     $75

     Seat cover $80

    Short throw shifter      $45

wheelie bar (cause you need it with 140 RWHP on a quad)     $300

stainless steal heavy duty tie rods and ends    $165

    total $17090

    ON A QUAD!!!!!!

and you say you put $10K into your motor, ok

that comes out to $1250 per a cylinder

mine comes out to $4175 per a cylinder

and go to kawieriders.com, im a SMALL FRY" compared to the quads those guys have built.

oh and us "atv idiots" are not that stupid. we didnt/dont run into each other, yall did.  you are the dumb ass that "spoke before you thought" i heard and saw vids of how yall truck guys with all your knowlege ran into each other, bashing into each other.

and by the way, i also own a 99 F250 superduty powerstroke with 13 in lift on 39's. so i know "muddin".

therefore I DO KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!

the one thing I CAN beat you at is comparing brain pans over what type of motorized toy we have

but to have the audacity to come on a ATV forum and call us idiots. that blows my mind

Re: outlaws & alcohol mud fest, dont bother

i agree u have lot of mony invested in your bike. but the morons that ran into eachother were drunk. now anybody that spend that much on a 4 wheeler has a much smaller BRAIN PAN as you would say than i do. as for trucks and atv racing at the same track i think is stupid. if u want to race your atv then go to a atv track!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the ten grand i got in my motor is just the bottom end if i told you how much my heads cost then you would more than likely s..t yourself. but what it all comes down to is that all of us are idiots for spending so much money on something that never pays for it self. to each his own. i did the math if any average joe like us tried to race for a living it would be impossible. there is a long argument that could go on over this but what the point. you atv guys do your thing and we mudracers will do ours. just stay out of our way. hahahahahaha. and why would u spend so much money on  an atv that you cant to the drag strip. mud racers can and have run the 1/4 mile i have no more to say just tread lightly and be safe and have fun.

I'll agree that the mud trucks and atvs dont mix.  At General Sams in Huntsville the trails have been rutted up so bad by the bigger vehicles that the atvs dont stand a chance.  We quit going there because of that.  As you say to each his own and lets have fun.

Re: outlaws & alcohol mud fest, dont bother

First off it is not that I am dumb for spending that much on a quad, it is cause i wanted to. I built it for drag racing. Oh, and i had the money and thats what i chose to spend it on.

so we are idiots, cause we ride quads, but your "moron" mud truck buddies where just drunk.....I see. excuses are like asss holes....... (by the way I'm up to 3 wrecks yall truck guys where involved in)

nothing YOU can say will make me chit myself. I also have a 65 mustang fastback that i used to drag race.  im not new to the sport, ive been involved in motorized racing for 13 years.

i do AGREE we are crazy for the money we spend on our toys, and that makes us a crazy in a way. but it is what we love. Also, I am a FIRM believer in "to each their own"

I can drag race my quad. That is why i built it. either at the mud drags or pavement drags. I have two sets of tires.

Oh, and the MUD drags are only 280 feet. not 1/4 mile. But, hey, who's counting????

Anyway, bottom line, one day let's have a beer together, on me!!!
