Just moved to Katy.  The spring creek is still alive and kikin. Some say that it was shuttin down but that was BULLSHIT.

 

I know this is a little older topic, but I haven't been on in a while. As for Spring Creek.. It is going to be closing down. My buddy that rides with us does dozer work for them and got the word. Some sort of green belt thing is taking over to preserve the area around there. But.. There's word of a place opening up off of 242 just east of The Woodlands.

 

As for riding in Katy. I don't know of any spots there. The one mentioned in Cypress isn't bad. I can't remember exactly where, but we just end up driving down the edge of the creek a little bit and unloading. If you come a little further NE, there are several trails out here in Tomball. None legal.. And I'm aware of that, so no need for anyone to point that out.

I have a 2x4 quad and not a 4x4 so im looking for trails where I wont have to sink my quad to have fun. I went to spring creek for a few hours but those trails are more for automatics than standard. its kinda hard on the clutch. Jumps, burs, speed, twists, and turns are what im lookin for.  I guess beggers can't be choosers. and im pretty much beggin at this point, so any info will help. legal or not.

 plenty of places around here closer than heading up to MF...  creekside, mud buddys, Randys place, silo ridge, galveston, etc. etc. 

although soon i would like to check out MF, it looks like fun

Where are these places located? I'm interested in find the location in Galveston.  Where's Randy's place? I've been riding around a creek in katy but cops started coming out on quads to try to stop us. So that sucks.

Randy owns Texas Mud n Fun in Castroville. It's on the otherside of SA. MudBuddy's is in Halletsville and it's a little closer.

We ride to the west of Barker Cypress and the south of West Little York and can run from there to Katy and then to the North of Little York and head towards Katy Hockley Cut Off from F.M. 529

Went to Soggy Bottom this last weekend nice place enjoyed ourselves plenty of everything to get into and a lake to even jump in and swim around

I went to this location today, but I was unable to find it.  Is there some kinda land mark that I can go by? Like behind a store or a shop or something like that?  And where do you unload?

It suck and very frustrating be the new guy in a new city with nowhere to ride my quad.  FRUSTRATING. I need help a.s.a.p. findind a place to let lose before I GO INSANE.!  !!! Somebody please help!!!!

If I were you, I'd drive to Mudbuddy's atv park near Halletvsille, TX. Its a fun park with alittle bit of everything...MX track, dirt drag strip, wooded trails around the perimeter and beside a small river.  For directions and info, go to www.mudbuddys.com
