i have a 2000 bombardier ds 650 and it has a blubbering problem it pulls through 1st gear and when you shift into 2nd gear it blubbers if you are just riding normal it runs grate if the rpms are up and your racing or if your flat out top speed and you drop the rpms at all like if you start going up hill it blubbers there too can anybody help me

It sounds like you are running rich. When was the last time the bike was jetted?

 i would say rich as well... pull the plug out of it.  check and see if it is black if it has dry black on it you need to lean it out a bit.

I'm having the same problem. I bought the bike yesterday. Was running great yesterday. Today, I took it out for about an hour. Ran it hard. (What RPM's shoud can I run this thing up to before shifting?) and after I was riding back up to the house it started acting up. 1st gear seemed to be ok, but in second it spits and sputters and then surges. Any ideas?

mine was doing the same thing at the dunes. Pull the carb apart and clean all the jets. The pilot on mine was blocked solid and definately will affect mid to high revs.

Check the rubber on the slide for cracks or holes.
