Looks good! I have been expecting some of those to show up at our XC races but I haven't seen any yet. I think the IRS would be good for racing in the conditions our guys do.

How does it compare performance wise with the YFZ on the trailer with it?

The YFZ has a little more topend I think.  It also has full exhaust, intake, jetted, 13.5:1 piston and runs on 112 race gas.  Kinda hard to compare. lol

The 700xx is fast, but I  bought it for trails and comfortability.  This thing soaks EVERYTHING up.  I'd love to do a XC.

I bet it does. We usually have a few race within an hour or so of the DFW area, check out www.atvccs.com for the schedule (when they finish it....) for next season. They are having a 10 hour race over here in East Texas in January. Get a couple of buddies and come on out.

     Now that sounds like fun!

We're headed out Jan 10th to either Rocky Ridge or Red River Motorcycle Trails on the river.  A bunch and by a "bunc" i mean probably 20+ quads.

I think its funny, we've all raced cars together since we used to street race in highschool and have gotten smarter and faster.  Now we all have quads too.  Good times!

Congrats on the new quad. I have seen the 700`s in the desert abd they are nice. Have heard good and bad but I havent riden one so I cant comment either way. The 700 did win the Baja 1000 this year. Havent heard anybody try it in GNCC or any X/C races. Keep us posted  how it works.

     Just an update...

I haven't got to ride much through out the summer cause its been so hot, but riding season for me is about to start up again!

     I now have:

13t sprocket (opposed to stock 14t)

    Intake

    Exhaust

    Power Commander

    EHS Air lid

Coming : Elka Elite rear remote resevoir shocks.

    Best Mod: seat time.

This thing is crazy fast, I have a video on youtube doing 71mph in 4th gear!  Another quad with the same mods as mine did 92mph in 5th gear.  I can feel its there!

    Re: My Honda 700xx

Thanks for the update. I still haven't seen one of these close-up in person (but I haven't been riding much this year due to a knee injury).  Can you please post a link to your youtube vid...I searched for it, but didn't find it.  They look like very fun trail bikes...I'd love to take one for a test ride one of these days and see how it feels over the bumpy stuff...my solid rear axle quad feels pretty sporty (power slides, etc.), but I sometimes wish it was as comfy as an IRS quad.  I still wish Honda made the 700xx in 4wd to compete with the Can Am renegade.

    Happy trails...:)
