Any local areas to the DFW area to meet and spend an afternoon riding?

We are planning to go to shiloh ridge ( alto,tx) in october for their halloween ride (www.shilohridge.com). We will be taking our 2 fourhweels and meeting our friends from louisiana to go camping and riding for the weekend. 

Have you ever been to Brushy Creek in Royse City? (East on 30 outside of Rockwall). I have heard mixed remarks about the place but I am going to check it out myself this weekend. http://brushycreekmotorfarm.tripod.com/

There is also Rural Shade in Kerens. http://www.ruralshadeatvranch.com/

It all depends on how far you want to drive. You can get to Lake Murray or Red River in under 2 hours. Rocky ridge is @ an hour away if you live in North Dallas/ FW area. Or there is always 360 and Trinity but you risk getting ticketed by the Cops.  

Hiya Princess, did you ever make it out to BrushyCreek?  If so, what did you think about it?  Anything like Muenster or Lake Murray?  Thanks for your input/info.  I'm always interested in finding new places to ride anywhere near the DFW metro-mess.

 What about Marshall Creek? It's about 25 mi. from Fort Worth. wanna go there in 2 or 3 weeks.
