My sportsman will not release out of 4 wheel drive. the switch appears to be working as the display shows the 4X4 icon when on and is not displayed when switch is off, however, the front wheels remain "locked" in 4x4 regardless of switch position. Any help here would be appreciated. Tanks in advance. 

 1st check your fluid and see if it's clean. Flush if it's dirty, make sure you use the correct

fluid and only 5 oz. 

Did you check to see if there is a recall on it. The ECM are on recall I think.

If the fluid does not work then you are going to have to take the front diff out and open it up.either the cage is broke or the armeture plate is warped.
