I can't get my Power Commander to "communicate" with my computer when trying to upload a tune. It's showing connected and the comptuter show's it's connected... Do I have to hook it up to the 9V battery connection? I don't see any lights staying on after the inital flash of turning the ignition on.

Manual says the lights need to stay on after the intial light flashes when the ignition is on. Just making sure everyone else had to use a little battery too... Unless I'm missing something?

figured it out... the answer is yes, you need a 9v bat.
