    Re: WORCS

I read it way back when you first posted it, I thought it was interesting, but all in all I think all the major sanctioning bodies will be following suit.

As for our sound requirements, I bought a pipe that was suposed to have been tested at AMA events and good at 96db and it blew a 101.7 or something like that so??? I guess next season when the db limit lowers in the ATVCCS I will have to get something else, but it looks like I won't be alone.

To me though as long as the rules are the same for everyone, and I can afford to do it, I will do what I have to do to stay around.

Heck at 92 you should be happy as a babby possum. Whats that, about 9 years before you have to worry.

I bought a HMF Quite Race Series that was supposed to be at 100 or below, how bout 103.7, rebuilt it with new pillow backing from HMF, did not ride it, started it up at the next sound check with a 102.5, turned the end cap 45 degrees away from the meter and blew a 101.9. These pipe companies will have to have real numbers that will hold up to what they claim in the real near future.

Thats strange, our HMF Sport Series (Oval) slip on with a quite core and a few races on the packing passed, but being a racer and all I bought the new one hoping to not lose any performance. As a matter of fact Jeff Porter's Yellow YFZ has an HMF and with new packing and my quite core it passesd too.

    Re: WORCS

GNCC hasn't sound tested anyone yet this year. They are AMA sanctioned you would think that if the AMA was going to continue to lower the db limit that they would start testing. They have anywhere from 1500 to 2000 riders per event and don't test why should it matter in ATVCCS. It sure sux when you get a different reading from each test and have different equipment to test with and then your exhaust companies obviously test with different equipment. It sure does seem to run a lot of racers off from the Texas series. Thats just my opinion.
