So how was SC on Sunday?  Did you find many quads to drag race with? 

I'm getting closer to FINALLY putting my quad back together.  I heard today from the shop doing my head work and they told me they will ship out my heads on Monday.   Still missing some other parts, but I expect them soon.  With any luck, I hope to be up and running in a few weeks.  My quad has been down for about 1.5 months now and its KILLING me to not be able to ride with the weather so nice lately. lol

Speaking of getting a quad motor put back together, have you heard from Kevin lately?  I wonder if he got his Raptor up and running yet?

spring creek was DEAD out there, and I know why. I guess the creek is always changing its path.  its pretty much done a 180 from how it was a couple months ago.   What was once the sand drags is now where the water is and vice versa.   there is nowhere to race....

 

had fun trail riding though.  only 2 stroke quad I saw out there.   and my buddy was in a 4x4 cummins.  we had fun in that one too

That sux to hear the river changed and messed up the drag racing area.   So I guess the area where the river used to be is now fresh sand?  If so, I guess you are saying its too rough to race on?

the area where the creek was still has a shallow 2-3" of water and a sand bar island, but the sand bar island isnt very long at all.  Dump the clutch and then grab the brakes!   

 

 

 

havent heard anything from Kevin and his friends.  kinda wondering where they went to, was fun riding with them...

I spoke to Kevin about 2 weeks ago on the phone...at that time, he was waiting on some parts to come in for his Raptor rebuild...I think he said the parts were supposed to arrive soon.  I figured we would hear from him on the forums again once he got his Raptor up and running again...hopefully that will be soon.   I am about 1 week away from getting all of my parts back...so probably 2 weeks away from riding/racing again (assuming I have time to put it back together quickly).  I can't wait to go riding again.
