Plain Dealing race and Pinks All OUT

Most of you probably already know this but the same weekend that we are racing in LA, they are having a Pinks All Out race at the dragstrip right around the corner (well a couple of miles...) from the place we are racing.

I don't know if tickets are still available but you can order them online here:

Can I enter my quad in the Pinks race!?! lol

I noticed that drag strip on my way to the Plain Dealing course last year and was curious about that place.  Good to know that Pinks comes all the way down south for some of their shows. I wonder if they ever come to Houston?

    Happy trails...:)

I see. Forgive my ignorance...I just got the speed channel a few months ago, so I haven't been watching Pinks very long.  Nice to know they frequent our area in TX.  I bet it would be a fun (but long) day to watch them tape a show.

It seems like North East Texas is a hot bed of contestants for Pinks. I was at a car show in Tyler Tx a few weeks ago and it was pretty much a Pinks family reunion.

Bummer about the discounts, for me anyway, I bought four at full price.

Goggles I would be really suprised if they pick any 7 to 8 second cars,  the fastest that pinks all out has ever picked was 9:20 to 9:40   and out of the 500 cars that will be there only 100 of them will be between 7 and 9 sec.

Re: Plain Dealing race and Pinks All OUT

In San Antonio last weekend they picked a 9.90 class  the race before that was  11.60  class,,  I talked to a friend of mine who works for pinks,  and he said that it would be a 1 in a million chance that a 8 sec. class would be picked,,  they are looking for 16 cars that all run within 1 tenth of one another,  but hey anything could happen and I would rather see an 8 sec. field myself....

I just hope that when we and our rainmaker (David C.) show up that it doesn't end up rained out....
