    YFZ450 bog problem

I know we have been over this before, but I've tried something new.

I had the problem on my 06 YFZ450. I changed the leak jet and it dang near got rid of the problem. I got a Quickshot 2 for Christmas and just installed that. I turned the fuel/air screw a 1/4 turn richer as instructed. Now the problem is worse than before. Should I try to richen the fuel air screw another 1/4 turn? Should I go back leaner? Idle is good, mid to high range is good, it's just bad a low rpm and then stabbing the throttle.

    Anyone got any ideas?

     Thanks

    Matt

I changed to an 05 needle and that fixed the bog problem. Now it's cutting out at the top end, but that should be easy enough to fix.

I'm running a 45 pilot, 175 main, NCQV or whatever needle 3 clip from top, 2 1/4 turn on the screw, lid on, 500 ft elevation, pro flow with uni filters and full HMF system.

You need to adjust the leak jet some more, buddy of mine just put on a new bowl where you adjust the leak jet from the outside and his bog went away!!!  Mine is on order!!!!!

new bowl huh?  What is the part #?  I have tried the leak jet to a 20 i think, to no avail.  I am too cheap to buy the quickshot.  I noticed it real bad coming off my 250r, but after a while and andjusting my riding style, i hardly notice it anymore
