4 heavy duty zip ties(probably Lowes or HD)

a small scrap piece of 3/4 plywood(less than 12"x12")

Now that you have the materials...time to build the pipe.

1. Cut 2 pieces of the 6" PVC approx 1 1/2" long.

Glue
these pieces into one end of each elbow sitting flush with the outside
edge. These will be the mounting flanges for your speakers.

2.
Now decide how wide you want your pipe to be,and cut aother section of
the 6" PVC long enough to where when used to connect the 2 elbows
together, make it the right width.Glue this piece into ONLY ONE of the
90 degree elbows.(This is the last time you will use the PVC glue)

3.It's
time to paint.spray both the elbow with thecenter section glued to
it,and the other elbow with the krylon fusion black paint(You can
actually use a color to match your ATV and that would probably look
pretty cool).

Allow time for it to dry before continuing.

4. Drill a hole in the bottom of the center section of
the pvc just large enough for the headphonejack end of the RCA cord to
fit through.Feed the male headphone plug end through the hole from the
inside out of the pipe and pull all but about 18" of slack through the
hole.Tie the end inside the pipe into a loose knot. Now take your power
adaptor cord and feed the bare wire end into the same hole...from the
outside/in.pull about 18" into the pipe and tie a loose knot in this
one also. Now silicone this hole very well...sealing it to make sure no
water can seep in if submerged.

5. Now it's time to hook
up your amp. First...cut the small piece of wood about the same size as
the amp and screw the amp to it.The amp should be able to slide into
the pipe after you attach it to the wood.

Hook the negative wire
from the power cord to the ground terminal of the amp.Hook the positive
side of the power cord to the power terminal of the amp and add a
jumper wire between the power terminal and the remote turn on terminal.

Take
your section of speaker wire and cut it in half.Hook both pieces to the
speaker terminals of the amplifier and run one out of the elbow glued
to the center section.Hook that piece to one of the speakers. If the
speaker has a rubber mounting gasket...place it between the speaker and
the elbow, and attach the speaker using the supplied screws...screwing
them into the flange that you glued into the elbow.(if there isn't a
gasket...you can use a small amount of silicone to seal the speaker to
the tube)

6. Once that is done, slide the amplifier inside the
center section and use more silicone to "glue" the section of wood to
the inside of the pipe.

7. Now you can attach your second
elbow.set the first elbow and center section on a flat surface.slide
the second elbow onto the center section, feeding the remaining speaker
wire through it and out of the other end. You'll permanantly attach this
later with silicone.By using silicone instead of PVC glue...you will
still be able to take the tube apart if needed.(It will be tough to get
apart...but it will come apart.)

Then hook up your second speaker and install it the same way you did the first one.

8. I'd recommend letting everything dry overnight, then you can test it,silicone it together, out and mount it to your rack.

The
12v accessory plug should plug into your ATV's accessory port. If you
get the correct cord,it will have an on/off switch on it so you can
turn the amplifier off w/o having to uplug it.

The male headphone plug end of the RCA cord should plug into the headphone jack of your MP3 player.

Test
everything out and make sure it works ok.You may have to slide the
second elbow back off and adjust the amp gain up or down a little to
get the sound output just how you want it.

9. Once you're happy with the sound, you can seal the tube up.

Put
the tube back on the flat surface and pull the second elbow off part
way, apply a small bead of silicone around it,and push it back together
making sure that it's all straight.Wipe off the excess silicone. I'd
recommend letting it dry for 30 minutes or so at least.

Place the tube on your rack, and use the large zip ties to secure it to the tubes of the rack.

Route your wires where they won't bind on anything, plug them in,and ROCK ON!

Hope this helps.

Anyone ridin near Katy, TX?

Just moved to the area and lookin for a place to ride

Rabbit Creek Reopening

Hey guys...
Found this sight looking for places to ride. I recently picked up a Suzuki Quadrunner to ride with friends who have ATVs. I also have a Honda XR400. If any of you guys know any places around Katy and Cypress send me a PM. The retention pond out here is fun, but some variety would be nice, and trails would be good too.
